Malo e lelei! From the words of my Tongan heritage, I greet you all by saying Hello!
My name is Nia Vaenuku and I am a third year student at the University of Washington majoring in Medical Anthropology and Global Health. What I like about anthropology is that I am able to learn about how the world works and how diversified knowledge can help me create and maintain strong relationships with others. This is my first archeology class and I am so excited to see what this class has in store! Apart from school, I love to sing, go on long adventurous walks out doors and enjoy the company of my family and close friends.
